Buying an AP online question

    You can get fast passes with the card they give you at the turnstile. When we did this last July - they took the printout and gave us a regular looking park hopper ticket with a barcode - we were told we needed to have the picture done by the end of the day.

    Cool tip about the area by the bank: There is a cast member door right by the bathrooms next to the bank and in the morning, when there are a lot of characters out and about, there is a steady stream of them coming in and out of that door. We saw Minnie, Chip and Dale, Goofy, and Mary Poppins all walk by us in the timespan of 20 minutes last time we got our passes and made a pit stop over there.

    That is a great trip. Going to have to check there for Donald. I rarely see him in the park. My fav DL pic is of me and my brother with Donald, many years ago, when I was about 11 and he was 3. I'd love to get another one with the two of us and Donald.

    Last time I heard you have to buy the AP's at a southern cal Costco and they do not sell them online. So if buying them on the way to DL is an option you can call one of the socal Costco's before you leave to make sure they have the passes.
