The elevators there were VERRRRRRRRRRRY slow when we were there, and I found we could take the stairs much faster. After 16 hours in the park, those stairs were like climbing the Matterhorn, but waiting for the elevator was worse for us. Noise doesn't bother me at all, so I can't speak for that.
