Grande quad Americano for me, and iced coffee for her. Once I got back it was time to head out to Newport Beach for our day at the beach. We started out with breakfast at Mutt Lynche's; our favorite place for drinks and good food in Newport. They have an extensive breakfast menu and we enjoyed everything from bacon and chocolate chip pancakes, to biscuits and gravy and breakfast burritos smothered in gravy. So good! And since we were on vacation, my brother felt a nice big beer was in order with his breakfast, just before 10am. Haha Mutt's is famous for their big "schooners" of beer. I'm not sure how many ounces they are, but they are pretty huge. Anyway, I went with orange juice for now. After breakfast we went out to the beach and spent time playing in the waves. It was so much fun! I went out pretty far into the water with my oldest three kids, and spent some fun time in the sand with with my youngest. It was so cute when she fell asleep on the beach towel under the umbrella. She's got my heart for sure. I took turns heading back to Mutt's in the afternoon to have one of those big schooners of beer with my wife and then with my brother while the other one stayed with the kids. I was the lucky one to go both times while each of the others stayed with the kids. After spending just about the entire day at the beach, we came back to the hotel and ordered some pizza to be delivered to the pool. We all ate pizza and had drinks by the pool to end the day. What an amazing 2nd day of vacation!

Originally Posted By familyguy Honestly...we look back at the night we had the delivery guy show up by the pool with pizza abd the kids were having a blast in the pool and we were having drinks and laughing as one of the highlights of the whole trip. Disneyland included. Was just a great night.
