One of my best Epcot memories is having lunch with my favorite uncle and his wife at Bistro. Our table was by that window in the front corner of the restaurant. It felt special.

(Last time I was there I noticed that they had jammed two tables into that space where there had only been one.)

I remember my uncle tasting the soup and saying, "I didn't know it was going to be served cold."

My uncle passed away not long after that. I think of him and that lunch we enjoyed every time I walk thru WS and look up at that window in France.

Another fine memory is having dinner there with some friends late one night. Only the latest seating was available, which worked out fine.

We pretty much had the restaurant to ourselves. Rather than rushing us, our French waiter was chatty and entertained us with stories of his travels around the world.

By the time we left the restaurant the Park had been closed for some time. We were picked up in front of France by a World Showcase bus and driven to the front gate of the park.

Another time I had lunch at the Bistro and it was impossibly noisy and crowded. They sat me near the middle of the room elbow to elbow with other guests. I could not enjoy the experience.
