But I found this interesting... >>Wine, Beer and Spirits Education and Tasting Seminars Explore the exciting world of wine, beer and spirits by attending an educational seminar led by a noted winemaker, master brewer, distiller or Disneyland® Resort sommelier. All events and schedules are subject to change without notice. Guests must be at least 21 years of age to attend wine, beer or spirits seminars, demonstrations and events. Please bring valid photo identification. Guests must purchase a tasting wristband to attend Wine, Beer and Spirits Education and Tasting Seminars. Wristbands are available for purchase in the queue before each seminar for $1.00, cash only, while supplies last. << Still a very good deal, but basically we will have to pay to get carded.....

Originally Posted By FerretAfros "And let's also remember that he does have a paying gig on (ahem) 'another' site." However, I haven't seen him over there either. I don't read the boards there often (I read it for the articles! : ), but his In The Parks column seems to have been taken over by someone else recently. The last few weeks have had a new logo that I'm clearly not hip enough to understand, and they have a different tone to them. There's more emphasis on non-theme-park entertainment-type events than in the original columns, and there's a lot more opinion being thrown in as fact. When Darkbeer was doing it, he tended to stick to the facts, and clearly state when he was inserting his own opinion, but the new writer (whoever it is) seems to be putting their opinion in lots of places without any sort of disclaimers. That said, I hope DB's doing well with the new wife and all!

Where does Tony Baxter fit in? Time will tell, but if certain people get their way, you may be seeing a Darkbeer overlay on the Mike Fink Keelboats as soon as this summer. Remember, it takes time to get to the sweet tootsie roll inside the tootsie pop, so updates will only take place when enough information has been gathered, and please donate through the amazon button on the screen.

A poster merely utilized an older thread concerning Darkbeer (from February 2010) to mention that Darkbeer hasn't been around LP in awhile. And, others of us added that we had noticed the same thing. I personally had a friendly post exchange with DBeer regarding a Winter Olympics event, which is the last I can currently remember a post from him. Since Darkbeer likes to travel, that's where he could be (or he could be busier at work or with his wife or anywhere he pleases). Anyways, I'm sure that we all hope that he's doing well and look forward to his photo updates in the future.
