Once you rent the stroller, can you parkhop with it from Disneyland to Ca Adventure, or do I have to rent one in each location? Can we take it to Downtown Disney? If not, where would I park it so we could shop in DD? Also, do the strollers recline? My 2 year old HAS to take a midday nap or he will turn into Grumpy. Do the strollers have a basket to hold a diaper bag at the bottom? What are other people's experiences or suggestions regarding renting vs bringing their own strollers? Thanks.

The strollers do not recline. They are basically a jogger stroller with a storage net underneath and a visor for shade on top. My son slept just fine in the stroller as he was able to sink into the seat. The stroller was also easy to manuever and easy for my husband to push. He is tall and most strollers he has to bend over to push.

They have a place where you can "ditch" your stroller right before you pass the checkpoint but I don't think you can pick it back up. But I have heard that if you save your paper with you family's name on it & take it to the stroller rental station they will give you a new stroller. Never tried that though.

As for the Disney Visa we do it all the time. You can get up to 2 strollers a day. It is nice! Just show your card & id & they give you strollers.

    Have fun!

If you need to go to Downtown Disney then you can either find somewhere to park it and come back to it or you can check it back in and then get it back out when you come back. You are given two rentals a day. You really don't even have to return the strollers at the end of the night since there is no deposit (that includes the Visa) or anything associated with them, that is why they won't let them past the security points. I usually return it anyways, to be nice, or if I am leaving the park early I sometimes find a family with a small child who doesn't have a stroller and ask them if they want it. I would definately suggest getting a rental if you are parking your car at the park. The folding and unfolding of it becomes a real anoyance.

We would routinely go back to the DLH for afternoon naps and ditch our stroller at the exit, then return later and get another stroller without paying again. You can take the strollers across from one park to another but not outside the security area, as someone stated earlier. I was a little hesitant to rent a stroller because we'd always brought our own, but it worked out great. They were easy to steer and had baskets to hold junk. Have fun!!

My only beef is that I would have to carry my 31lb 2.5 year old when she fell asleep at the end of the night. Otherwise, renting a stoller is great for older kids or ones who can stay up later than 10. Mine can sleep through the fireworks!!
