If the USA was up by two or three goals, maybe you can call it "rubbing it in", but if the USA player failed to try and make that goal in the last minute, his coach would have gave him a MAJOR Earful!

It just seems much worse when Kessler is a great player on the team I usually cheer for, the Vancouver Canucks, and it hurts a bit when he scores against us at such a important moment in the game. On top of that he was reaching around our guy and half heartedly batted at the puck with one arm and somehow managed to knock it in, a lucky shot. Canada out shot the US by far, where were all our lucky shots ? It is my right as a fan to feel let down on this one =)

Hopefully we will still be able to battle our way to the top. I haven't given up hope yet.

I have to stay, it is nice to end up as the Number 1 seed.

Heck, you can always take in satisfaction that Canada beat the USA in Men's Curling this morning.

And FYI, I call myself an All American Polish Hoser..... Both my parents graduated from U of T. (Mom was born in Toronto, Dad in Warsaw, but escaped during World War II with his brothers and got relocated to Canada). They moved to San Diego a few years before I was born due to my Dad's Job.

    Why? Home Ice?

Both canada and the USA are basically NHL All Star Teams. So basically both teams are in shape (currently playing), and play at the same level.

If Canada can get past the Russians. ;)

Russia has a great team...when they play as a team...would love to see a USA CANADIAN FINAL....The USA though will also have a tough go, no team will be soft in the quaters, all will be ready to win..

The USA will not be taking the Swiss lightly, there is alot of bad feelings between these two...
