Originally Posted By Dabob2 The Candy Cane is probably my favorite place on the Harbor "strip," but the room I had was too small for five. Of course, that's only one room, but that seems to be the consensus. I don't know if they have suites like some of the other Harbor motels. On the plus side, the private shuttle means its arrival and departure are predictable (so no waiting around too long), yet it's close enough to walk if you want, plus the breakfast was better than other Harbor places I've stayed at. And all 5 people get that breakfast, so that's a consideration. And the pictures aren't deceiving in this case; they keep it up very well, and the grounds, though hardly as nice as the GC or DLH, are a cut above the other motels in the area - kind of as "garden-y" as an old two-story motel can be. And the staff was great. The only downside is the size of the room. It would be a nice room, but tight.

Holiday Inn Express also has breakfast included with some hot items.

The rooms are spacious, but that is with 3 people, with 5 it would be tight. I prefer staying in the tower. I know they recently opened family friendly rooms. Not sure if they are larger, or just differently configured.

Quiet too The tram and complimentary breakfast at the CCI save time and money. It is so nice not having to walk all the way back to the hotel after a day of walking in the parks. Have fun

Thinking of staying at Quality inn on Manchester, they have a kids suite that will accomodate everyone with two full baths, a must with 4 teenage girls. they said it is a short walk and has breakfast and right next to Mimi's. has anyone stayed here?
