Originally Posted By disneylandfan8 I was in the Santa Monica area the day of the last Carmegeddon and the area freeways were a ghost town. Everyone stayed home or avoided it. I wouldn't worry about it too much, but have an alternative route plan.

They went with "The sky is falling!!!" approach last time and no one would believe them if they repeated it.
