CARMEGEDDON QUESTIONS

    We are coming down from Sacramento and were wondering what the best alt routes are!?

    Also wondering if the park was slower LAST Carmegeddon?

    I was in the Santa Monica area the day of the last Carmegeddon and the area freeways were a ghost town. Everyone stayed home or avoided it.

    I wouldn't worry about it too much, but have an alternative route plan.

    I'm suprised I hadn't heard of Carmegeddon II. It's not even mentioned on the Caltrans website, so I googled it and the results that came back said they were trying to "downplay it" or take a "softer, warmer approach". The reason is logical. They went with "The sky is falling!!!" approach last time and no one would believe them if they repeated it.
