I can't rember a time I have been to the park in the last year that it's been closed all day (I don't check every time, but I do go on it once every few weeks). However, I think it does have shorter hours then the rest of the park. (Again, I am not sure, but I would bet it will be open enough on those dates that you don't need to worry about riding it.)
