The "futuristic" scene we have surpassed already and it sounds funny hearing words like "car phone" and "laser disc." But I'm sure if they "redo" anything they may just tear it down and put in a stitch playground ;)

I'd like to see a tribute to Horizons and the family in the future lives in space, or underwater, or in the desert. What would be really cool is if they could rotate thatlast part where you won't know which future you would get until the end.

They could have their spiels about how all the future gadgets, and if you look out the back window you would be able to see whereever it is they live. (See stars and planets, fish floating by, the desert moon etc)

It would be great to see a 50s scene with TV, big cars and Disneyland, of course. 60s could have passenger jets, color TV, updated kitchen appliances, etc. 70s with NASA, 8-track players, shag carpet and all. 80s: CD players and VCRS. 90s cell phones, DVD, and the internet.

whew. don't know if there's room in Tomorryland for a bigger carousel, but there's a big unused pavilion in Epcot...

How many have voice activated stoves or a whole lot of virtual games on the TV screen. They are probably available, don't know, but I don't know many people that have them. It still has a few good years left, just the way it is, if they would only do the upkeep.

After, when all the things in the last scene are a reality in the majority of homes then it can be just a historical showplace and tribute to Walt. I would sure hate that his legacy be forgotten. It can still be seen as a Carousel of Progress, just progress that has already happened. Maybe change the song back to "now is the best time" and my work here will be complete.

That's the bottom line. They cost a lot and are expensive to maintain.

Many of the top people at WDI these days feel likewise. AAs are passe ... people want thrills.

Sure they'll build ONE impressive figure like the Yeti or Stitch, but a show with dozens ... forget about it.

CoP is timeless. It just needs updating to make it relevant to today's audience. But that won't happen unless someone like John Lasseter steps in and since his Incredibles characters are likely to take over that real estate, that's not gonna happen.

It looks like the early 80's version of Atari games with the characters wearing virtual reality goggles...The girl is wearing wigwams (also from the 80's) and they are using incorrect terminology for current technology we have today. Perhaps update the "feel" of the scene. It gives off an 80's appeal with a futuristic vibe that is just a tick off. This is just my opinion. I love the attraction and wouldn't care if not a darn thing was changed but I could see where a change would be a nice improvement, that's all.

That should keep it good to go for the next decade.
