True, except for the GC park entrance is right there.

On another note, as much plussing that DCA has gone through, I believe it is almost too small for a Disney theme park.

The Cars-land addition hopefully aswage that preception. But I can't really see TDA have staggered openings.

I find this great because i used to never start my day out DCA. If the park opens earlier and stays open later i may actually to spend more time in DCA and eat meals here.

Besides the MK DCA has more ride offerings then the rest of the WDW parks which isnt bad. Hopefully in a few more years DCA will be able to squeeze a few more attractions in.

Not only that, but if the makeover proves to be a success, they would most likely have seen success too. I think it's interesting that they are trying the high-end restaurant thing again, with the hopes that this time, it will stick.

To be honest, I'm one of the guests who would like that option. I'm not a big fan of theme park food, so if there is a fancier option, I'll go for that. I ate at both Mondavi and Puck's when they were open.

Luckily Disneyland has pretty much the best theme park food out there. Quick service at Uni, Knotts, 6 flags and even WDW are pretty much gross.

On my last visit to WDW, which was about 5 years ago, The MK's food and food service establishments seemed to be stuck in 80s.

At Walt Disney World you're held captive, by comparison, and it's just to inconvenient to go off property to find anything better--unless you happen to be a witch, that is. Broomsticks can come in so handy at such times. You really should invest in one you know. (I'd be willing to teach you how to fly one!)

    That could be true.

And ironically, for the same reason you gave. Guests at WDW are trapped there for the length of their vacation (let's presume it's about a week long on average). Unlike DL, where guests tend to only visit for a few days and have a lot of other options nearby, WDW caters to people who will be there for a long time. And as such, they have an incredible variety of options, especially when compared to DL.

Yes, you can get a bad burger at any of the parks in WDW (really, really bad burgers), but the overall quality is pretty good if you ignore the burgers, and there are a ton of options. DL also has pretty good quality overall (why didn't they change WDW's burgers when they were changing DL's in the last few years?), but the options are fairly limited. Since most guests will only eat a handful of meals in the DLR parks, it's not an issue, since there are enough options for a 2-3 day stay. In WDW, there are enough options for a weeklong vacation without repeats; just avoid the Magic Kingdom (which is generally good advice for everything).

Knott's has made great improvements in food quality by adding TGIF, Pinks Hotdogs, Johnny Rockets & Panda Express plus Cinnabon to their livery.

Their breakfast at Mrs. Knott's Chicken Dinner restaurant tops any themepark breakfast that I have ever experienced. And now, Matt & Raffi are seriously cleaning up the fast food s**t-hole operations throughout the park.
