The topiaries were perfect and unblemished. One place that made me start noticing the greenery was a little garden outside the back door of Mousegear in Epcot. It is a small but hidden gem that I assume is a butterfly garden. We stumbled upon it accidentaly and it made us pause for a moment to enjoy it. It was one of those moments where our family bonded and shared something that had nothing to do with thrill rides or imagination, just a quaint little out of the way garden just waiting to be discovered. Really glad the landscape was looking good. That is definitely a big part of my trip. I don't recall ever going out the back door of MouseGear, so I will definitely have to check that out on my next visit.

Please keep posting your insights on this last trip of yours, if you do not feel like making a full trip report. I love hearing all about my LP friends vacations to WDW, and I'm sure everybody else would love to hear your thoughts as well.

The Magic Kingdom, however, leaves a lot to be desired. They have replaced a majority of places where flowers should be with bushes. It's incredible to look at pictures of WDW in the '70s and '80s and compare them with ones now. Look at Town Square and the area surrounding the Mad Tea Party- there used to be flowers there, now replaced. It truly was a disappointment. Phil Holmes can learn a few things from Dan Cockerell and Rilous Carter.

On the Safari ride it was a running joke because there were so many ducks in the enclosures

Ducks are like Brazilians though. One gets in line, and when he gets close to the front the rest of the flock shows up.
