Bugs Life- was walk on- still a great ride- plus you get to walk under the tree on the way in.

Expedition Everest- It Rocks! It is just so well themed and different from any other coaster. Everyting was working (except the Yeti of course). Even the eagle which wasn't working our last time. I'm sure people hate being in the queue with us because we are trying to land a penny in the cup and constantly ringing bells. Oh well , sorry.

Dinosaur- it seemed dark alot of the time. has it always been that way- was also walk on- no line

Primeval whirl- broke down right after we rode and they had to walk guests off. It was jerky and rough. Maybe I'm just getting too old for this type of ride

Safari ride was excellent, 10 minute wait. went on about 9:30 and all the animals were out. I had never seen the savannah this active. Also there were Ducks and what I assume are Buzzards everywhere.

On a negative- we bought 3 churros in Dinoland that were freezer burned and inedible but we survived

Kali river rapids- must have a hot weather setting. We went on wearing ponchos and I still got soaked. How is that possible? It is always our last ride because none of can stand to tour the parks with a soaking wet butt.

Flights of Wonder- a great show that people shouldn't miss. It is amazing what they can get animals to do. It rained during our show and the cast didn't miss a beat

This is another park that I wish had some sort of transportation. I no longer consider this a half day park. It is beautiful and deservesa slow exploration.

EE-- very cool ride- was 40 minute wait both times..

Kali - yes the ride is too short.. and the stand by wait of 60 minutes ridiculous - so we always FP and come back.. great for getting drenched on a 100+ heat index day ( which every day onour trip was) - however going wet into ITTBAB is not recommended- it's cold in there

ITTBAB - sat in the fron trow this time and the s
cloud effect during the bee 'attack' is far more intenese up there when you can't see -- warning though - little kidswere screaming there ..might want to sit further back

Kilamanjaro - rode twie - FP each time because the line in the heat is brutal..
the first time had the best driver ever and that along with the most animals out ever made for one heck of an experience. It is always good, but that one trip was great, not good.

Had ressies at Tusker house but skipped that day -- just wasn't that hungry and had Boma reservations at night

Primevil Whirl- had fun on this - still enjoy

Dinosaur-- the little boy in me comes out on this ride..and it is one of my faves- always has been since it was Countdown to Extinction and we got to use the McDonalds ( sponsor then) sponsor lounge and bypass the lines when we were ready. Lines were inconcistent the two time on this, but large tour groups on time took it from 15 minute wait to 60 in the blink of an eye and 3-4 groups of 5o-60 each piled into line at once.

Flights of Wonder- we never miss this show- it is relaxing and amazing at the same time--

It always amazes me when people call Everest well themed. It's nicely themed ride, but past the queue the theming really drops off. I like the ride good enough, but it's theming pales in comparison when compared to a ride like Big Thunder.

I'm glad you like it...but without the Yeti it's a decently themed coaster with very little payoff, IMO.

Yup. It's always been like that. It's a shame too. It has potential, but it has horrible execution.

    The commando mentallity causes that.

It happens to the best of us.

You can never have to many ducks anywhere.

I hope you got your money back. There is nothing worse than a churro that has been desecrated.

That's why we've never riden it.

I scream everytime that thing sticks me in the back!

We always arrive after the show has started. I keep promising to arrive on time one year.

Most definitely. This Park is one giant piece of eye candy. It shows you what WDI can still create.

Bugs is cool. The Safari tour of the live animals is nice and innovative, but the narration is trite and PC still. The train is boring. Everest is cool. The dinosaurs are dark to hide everything.
The rapids would be fun if they didn't have that lame PC environmental message being beaten over our heads constantly.

Everything else I just love. The rapids when we went I was the one going backwards going down the waterfall. So I got soaked!!! Still fun.

Thanks for you report, it's fun to read.

I'd agree with that ... to a point, a park about animals is (by it's nature, pun intended) going to push a pro-ecology, pro-save the planet agenda.

Considering that when staying at DAK Lodge I once heard some redneck brats ask (and this was done seriously) if the wildlife was for a hunting preserve, I do think that erring on the side of tree-huggers really doesn't harm anyone.

And if you feel the message is hitting you over the head, you can always head over the Stale MK and ride Space Mountain 22 times and try and convince yourself that it shouldn't have been gutted and replaced by a real ride!

<<Also, theming is nice, but Disney always made things look well themed without looking dirty. Guess Joe forgot about that when designing the place.>>

    Weak criticism, Manny.

DAK may look realistic in places, but it doesn't look 'dirty' anywhere. Aged environments and buildings don't equate with 'dirty' to most people.

    Joe did a phenomenal job.

You want dirty? Walk around MK on any day attendance goes over 25K and you'll see plenty of REAL dirty!

<<Bugs is cool. The Safari tour of the live animals is nice and innovative, but the narration is trite and PC still. The train is boring. Everest is cool. The dinosaurs are dark to hide everything.

Actually, KS is one the truest E-Tix of WDW. Bug's is fun enough, at least the first 30 times. The train is definitely boring and I don't get why they couldn't do more with it. Everest could have been great, was very, very good and now is just sad because so many key elements don't work. I'd say the same about CTX.

Oh, and KRR sucks flat out. Short, soaking and nothing to it. Like they took a Six Flags raft ride, added an environmental 'message' and a Disney queue. Went on it once. Hated it. Went a second time to make sure. Have never done it again.

Hmm ... -em really isn't that creepy at all ... and if she scares ya, you can always feed her Disney pins. Calms her down and her taste for blood goes away!
