Wonder how that'd pass here in the US...

Weight is changable, heart conditions & asthma aren't I guess. *pout*

<- I'm multi ethnic, I'm a "professional" (I have IT certs, I also am a healthcare professional, I have First Aid, CPR etc) and have a decent income for a single (however I also have a healthy spending habit), but since I'm male and all their children for adoption are female they probably won't let me.

For whatever reason most international adoptions if they let a male adopt single only allow a male to adopt a male child (and not infant), but female single can adopt any child.

    Go figure.

I don't blame them for turning people like this down. I would not want to be responsible for adopting a child to someone who is too old, does not have a stable home life, or is taking psychotropic drugs.

Some seem okay to me, others less so. Who decides what a facial deformity is? And 30 seems old for a minimum age; lots of people become parents in the 20's. In my parents' generation, MOST people did.

I don't think so. I think by that time maybe you've tried, and have had problems, and aren't doing it just as a youthful whim.

But China can make its own rules. Maybe they think 20-somethings are more likely to get "tired" of being parents or something.

It's a sweeping generalization, but in the numbers they have to deal with, it's probably a good rule of thumb and if you CAN'T wait, then you really SHOULD wait.
