At first I thought I was looking at a sticker attached to a Car liscence plate but then as I got closer I could not believe my eyes. Here in Florida there are actually personalized state car liscence plates with "Choose life" on them, clearly an overt homage to the anti abortion movement aka 'pro lifers'. Is it fair for a state to allow for this? This just aint right if you ask me and by the way this does not mean I think "Choice for women" should be on a public tag either. I hope some US Court puts a stop to this practice.
I agree that both are inappropriate for something provided by the state. But if they are going to allow for one they should allow both.
Yes, we kill people here in Florida which can disturb the consciences. But remember that these are paying private drivers who pick out these plates among several styles. I see Florida as an enabler(which just ain't right, actually very disturbing to me) and not a direct promoter of the pro life movement.
My daughter just looked this up. choose-life.org Florida started it but it has spread to 24 states. Started by Jeb Bush 1999.
I believe that on the back of that shirt it says... Or we'll kill anyone that disagrees. This country is so full of hypocrites that it is getting difficult to even say hello anymore.
