As was noted in the comments of the article, the ship in Tarzan was seen burning, and the couple had the baby with them onboard. That's very different than a childless couple's ship getting engulfed in a huge wave. Additionally, the ship in Tarzan had ties to Great Britain, as seen by the Union Jack flying from the treehouse; how is it that it was carrying the royalty from Arendale? It seems like they should be rivals, if their main export is commerce. The theory makes sense until you actually look at the details and think about what's going on, and then all that flies out the window (side note: the Mermaid ship looks nothing like the Tarzan or Frozen ships)

It's a fun little theory to talk about as fans, but it has no business being anything even remotely official. I'm sure this will catch on like wildfire (like that inane Pixar universe theory), but I really wish that the directors hadn't said anything about it in the first place

Your are absolutely correct in your assessment, Ferret, but hey -it's just for fun.

That means Elsa is around 20 years older than Tarzan. In case anybody's planning a cross-over, they'll need to remember that.
