Anybody who was there yesterday, is there anything especially noteworthy (other than the crowd size :) about Disneyland on Christmas?

The attendance is a significant issue, though.

Heading into the parking structure at noon, we saw a sign that said all DL tickets were sold out and DCA was available. Getting to the parking entry gates from the street was a 20+ minute process. Many cars were heading for the exit and the CM asked if we both had premium passes as that would be the only way of getting into DL.

It was very crowded and we didn't go past coke corner before leaving for the decorations LP meet at the Grand Californian.

If you want to go on Christmas day, at least on a week-end, plan on getting there very early just to get entry tickets.

    1) Really good parking close to the escalators to the tram area.
    2) 12 attractions without using Fastpass (mainly E ticket rides).
    3) Believe fireworks with snow finale.
    4) Delicious dessert.
The only crowding situation encountered was in the Hub after the fireworks in NOS during Fantasmic. I had no problems with park entry nor with long lines and was unaware of the sellout of tickets earlier in the day.

I imagine many left after seeing the parade at 7 p.m. There were tons of people waiting for it when we left about that time.

We got onto all the rides we wanted to and had a great view for the fireworks in front of the castle.

I've never seen this first hand, but I have a friend whose parents were there a few years ago, and they said it was empty. I guess it makes even more sense when you start thinking about all the football games and stuff that would also be keeping people other places.
