This year we are going the 2nd week of Dec. I have been in Dec.13-16 once before and it wasn't bad at all. Is it better to go early in the month?

Imagine so many people that you cannot even walk-massive people jams everywhere and if you leave the park there is a chance that you won't get back in because it has become too crowded.

We have been there when 3 days out of the 4 that we were there they closed the gates.

So, if crowds are not your thing-pick another time to go.

Would I do it again? In a heartbeat!
As stated above; if you can handle the crowds, go and enjoy the Holiday atmosphere. If not, stick to earlier in the month.

Just make it part of the experience and you'll enjoy it.

The worst was going in September and having it sell out. We went to avoid the crowds and got mobbed. It wasn't the Happiest Place for me that day.

I took some pictures of the crowd at the parade because I couldn't believe it. It was just as crowded as the fourth of july, so crowded you had to stand in place for 2-3 minutes to wait for people to move, redukoolous.

I do believe that Disney creates a "perceived capacity" by closing rides, using less ride vehicles & CMs, etc, which makes the park appear fuller and lines longer when it's not as crowded as you think.

It seems to be getting impossible to find a time that's truly "uncrowded" any more.
