Trip Planning or not, but here it goes. I am going to Disneyland the weekend of November 17th and staying for 3 days. I know that It's A Small World is closed until the 12th to put up the Holiday overlay. I also know that all the decorations will not be up overnight. I was just wondering, around this time, what is up? Will the tree be there, will most of the lands be decorated? What about the castle, and are they going to redecorate it for Christmas since they did for the 50th? Anything will be nice, I'm so excited, I can't wait!

They always take the week or so prior to iaswh opening to decorate the park. They place the Christmas Tree on Main Street just prior to iaswh opening.

The one thing that starts later is the Christmas Parade, this year it will start of Friday, November 18th. That is a few days earlier than normal, due to the decision to keep the Parade of Dreams on the schedule, eliminating the problems of switching over parades.

Also, the new area at the Big Thunder Ranch, Santa's Reindeer Round Up will open Friday November 11th. Plus, Disney will start offering the snow effect at the end of the Remember Fireworks! on Friday, November 11th, and also the Fireworks and snow will be offered daily from November 11th thru January 2nd.

Fireworks are Daily between November 11th and December 30th.

They will be at 7:45 PM on days the park closes at 8 PM, 5:45 on the 6 PM closings (the 5th and 6th of Dec.) and 9:25 on days with a later closing.

The 31st is in limbo, there will be a BIG fireworks show at Midnight, but that might cause the Remember show to be cancelled. They are still making plans, and one option is to offer Remember earlier in the evening...
