Haven't tuned into the station that converts to all-holiday-music yet to see if they've made the switch. I'm too afraid ...

But Madonna's version of Santa Baby this far away from December 25 is just a little too much to take.

I feel so sorry for the people that work there that have to listen to it for hours and hours a day!!!

If it's cold outside and I'm feeling snuggly, I have no problem with it. Warms my heart. But right now we're still in the 90's and it is more of a taunt than anything else. :)

One of the most unusual songs for a Christmas playlist, since it doesn't mention Christmas per se, but it does definitely set the romantic mood (if you don't watch this video! It's sad!)

I've been listening to some of it because I bought a couple of new cds. Harry Connick Jr. has a new Xmas cd out tomorrow. His first one was one of the best, his 2nd had a lot of good songs, too. Looking forward to hearing it! :-D

I usually try to enjoy Thanksgiving and autumn but I'm ready for Xmas now. It's my happy hideaway. We'll be at Disneyland the weekend before TG. It will be weird to flip back into TG mode for a week.

And on a totally off topic note: My brother is on a fishing boat up in Alaska and I JUST found out he will be home for TG! :-D

I feel that way about political campaigning. Thank goodness it will be over with tomorrow.

I love christmas, so seeing decorations reminds me that snow will be coming soon. I am sure Mollysmom is already shopping for 2010. ;)

He flew out to Dutch Harbor, AK on the same day another ship went down and 5-7 men were killed. :-(

But the bar that the guys on Deadliest Catch used to meet in (The Elbow Room) is gone now, or will be soon. My brother's family used to own half of it.

    Sorry for going off-topic.

    Now about that Xmas music...

I'm wondering how soon the 24 hour Xmas music will start on a local station. It used to be the day after Thanksgiving. Last year it was the Monday before Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is so late this year, who knows? Maybe it's playing right now.
