There is usually some sort of cookie decorating table as well. On Main Street you will see the HUGE Christmas tree. There is also a tree lighting ceremony. There are Christmas specials to attend as well, like the Candlelight Processional...which is lovely. We go home feeling so much Christmas spirit...it's our favorite time of year there.

Usually we like the dream tower with downtown disney view but someone said they are remodeling that tower?? Maybe a pool view instead?? From Wonder? I've never stayed in Magic (main building).

One special thing that we did when we were staying onsite for Christmas was to order the little tree from Vacation Planning. It cost a bit, I think around $90, but I love it! I got it at the resort three years ago, and have put it up each Christmas since at home. It is about 3.5 feet tall, it comes decorated with plush characters, glass balls, and other treats, and ours had special personlized ears as a topper. They will give you a large box with it, that makes it easy to take home (especially in a car) and very easy to store from year to year. It takes me about five minutes to get it out of storage and put it back up, as all the decorations stay on it in the box! I loved having it in our room during our Christmas stay. But I really loved being there at Christmas in general. We had a great time getting photo pass photos taken at each Christmas tree and Christmas photo op, and then ordering Christmas postcards after we got home to use as Christmas cards. You could also ask the photopass people to take photos with your own camera, and then order your Holiday card on your own, I would guess, but we enjoyed getting the Disney ones. We even took the holiday tour when we were there (it was our first and so far only trip for the holidays, so we pulled out all the stops). I enjoyed the tour quite a bit, but to be honest we had seen most of the holiday offerings on our own by the time we did the tour. It was worth it for the reserved seating for the parade though, as we really hate crowds and never would have waited in a big one to see the holiday parade otherwise. But at the end of the tour we got hot chocolate and cookies, and got to sit in special great seats to watch the parade, which was really fun! I'm sure you will have a fantastic time. We found it a bit chilly at night, I wore a scarf, hat, gloves, wool coat, sweater, long sleeve shirt and jeans, but I always am very cold, ha ha.

(with pool side view) I don't want to stay in Dream because of the construction. Has anyone ever stayed in Magic? (main tower) .... Wonder does have the waterfalls though which are nice.
