Once on our floor we had to navigate several hallways to get to our room as the elevator was some distance away. Disneyland Hotel is closer than Paradise Pier, if you get the closest tower. When we stayed at PP, we crossed and went through the lobby of the Grand. I would be very surprised if we walked further to get to our room at PP than we did at the Grand.

Followed (both in price and closeness) by the Disneyland Hotel and then Paradise Pier. I'm assuming that is what you mean by "on the property". There are hotels on Harbor Blvd that are closer than both the Disneyland/PP hotels, but not "on property".

It's a closer walk from the main gate than the DLH (though not from the DTD monorail station, of course). As you get farther either north or south from there, it gets a little farther. But none on that strip are tremendously far. The HoJos on the north and the Candy Cane on the south are about equidistant, and roughly the same as walking from the main gate to the DLH. The closer you get to the center (the BW Park Place), the closer the walk.
