But, I got to thinking about it a little more in the last day or so. My son was enthralled by it. It isn't easy to get him to sit still for anything but he hardly moved while watching this compilation of shows (that included a Goofy show, Donald, Mickey, etc). Then I had an enlightment. I grew up with hand drawn Mickey...and my son did not. When I give it more thought I enjoyed the Pixar movies and Shrek and felt they had the heart that was missing in Mickey's Christmas. Then again, I didn't grow up with Woody, Buzz, Sully, Shrek, etc. I think the problem is, and always will be, that I have such fond memories of Mickey in the hand drawn format and I won't be able to watch Mickey in CGA again without thinking of him as hand drawn. But, for today's generation it doesn't seem to be an issue. My rambling is complete.

When they have tried to change it, people go crazy. It's not the greatest costume but for some reason any change infuriates people. I think the problem I had with the computerized Mickey wasn't the drawing per say but the way they moved. The heads were humonguous and they just didn't move freely enough for me. That and the stories were kind of weak to me. It's great for kids though cause they like the bright colors not the writing.
