At first it was easy to think that he's not doing anything new, but now he's reminding me that reinvention is not necessary when you're this funny.

I hope he's around for a long time.

He should trim his monologue and do more taped segments. NBC brass wanted him to extend his monologue to "be more like Leno" but monologues have never been Conan's strength. He seems to be still following that advice.

Guests are also allowed to be more edgy. They didn't bleep the s-word when Harrison Ford said it. They didn't bleep the slang term for fellatio either when Bob Saget said it.

They won't get really good guests, both those people have nothing to say anyway. I hope they simply bring on interesting people whether they are really famous or not. I don't want to hear from Tom Cruise anyway.

Oh, and when Neon Trees performed "Animal" I decided I am not likely to ever want to see them perform live. I'll be happy with their recorded music, though.

LOL! I agree. The whole show is offbeat and goofy and I love that it starts at 11. I love that each episode has a Quinn Martin style title.

His monologue is really awful. I don't know how you watch just that. I usually skip it.

NBC executives told him to lengthen his monologue on the Tonight Show and he's still doing too many jokes on TBS.

The guests are usually awful too, because Conan can't ask them anything good if their publicist is watching like a hawk. And if there is a good guest who is willing to talk, they are only on for a few minutes.

I prefer interviews on talk radio way more, as they often have more time with the guest.
