If they can figure out how to do the projection show without interfering with the parade of dolls and the other doors opening, I don't see why the center doors with the time would be any different. I don't know the specifics of the timing, but I would guess that they have to skip a round or two of the clock procession to do the projections, yet they run the rest of them just fine throughout the day. If they can open all the other doors and have all of the other effects, and still have the projection show work in full, I don't see why the center doors would be any different that the other components. As already mentioned, all of that stuff in the nighttime show is done with projections, so there is no need to do anything special with the doors (other than just have them closed during the show).
