But I wouldn't mind if they changed the band, even for a fictitious group. I imagine one of the main reasons the ride is popular is because it has inversions (!!!). It's not a very exciting track layout, the ride's too short, and the black-light cardboard cut-outs are pretty lame, too.

I guess they can't all be Towers of Terror.

Anybody know how WDSP's versions compares? I know the ride's visuals are more like a light show, but is that better or worse than MGM's?

Stop fooling yourself and making stuff up, if what you say is true, it would have been Rock N Roller Coaster w/ Hannah Montana years ago....

I would think its a lock to happen in the next few weeks now that this has been brought to the attention of management that Disney could save huge with 2 less people telling the story about the ride.

But, what if they figured out a way to modify RNRC to incorporate visiting musicians and groups throughout the year. For example, say Disney set up a concert series at the park and as part of the promotion the bands would perform for a few hours at the attraction as though they were the marquee name? Once the bands were gone, the attraction could revert back to the standard Aerosmith theme. I think that might be an interesting way to keep the attraction fresh, give musical acts some unique PR, and liven up the atmosphere in that part of the Studios. Just an idea . . .

This sounds like something that would happen in one of my bad nightmares... and then I wake up screaming.
