But when I looked at January 2005, there didn't seem any indication of the show going down and coming back up.

For anyone who knows, does the regular show usually come back up the second week of January? Any extended closures for next January that anyone might have heard of?

    Thanks!

The Bear Band could use some major TLC.

Since I have the Musical History of DL and videos of all 3 shows (and never seeing the Holiday show in person), I've come to like all 3 shows as equal.

I also have a habit of singing/humming the songs to myself.

You want to see Vacation Hoedown? Then head to TDL where it is currently playing during the summer season (as usual for the past few years on a yearly basis), then the Xmas version takes over, then the original version and back to Hoedown again for summer 07... Gotta love TDL!! :)

I worked bear band almost one whole summer and loved it! :) It was airconditioned and relativly calm compaired to the other attreactions in the park. We could run both theaters and only need 4 cm's (5 would be the max)

See, for the longest time I *always* thought that DL and WDW rotated all three shows throughout the year. I think it was here on LP that I found out that they didn't.

I liked the Tokyo version of the Vacation Hoedown (someone sent me a video). I don't know if I liked Henry introducing EVERYONE though, but it seemed to work. Poor Ernest had to share stage time with not only the 5BR, but Henry as well.

I was a kid when I saw the CBJ at DL, so I never realized that there were two theatres. Since we were used to DL, we found it trippy that you exit on the right at WDW's (and Tokyo's) CBJ.

Hmmm... you know... Ernest and Trixie could have been the Villains in the Country Bears movie, which then could explain their 'absence' in the finale, but then it probably wouldn't do their image very well.

The TDL version is exactly the same one presented at WDW years ago.

Actually, no it isn't. There are song differences, and slight tweaks. I think it's because some of the humor would not carry over that well in Japanese, so they tweaked it slightly for the audience. I've got both recordings to verify there are different songs.
