Since being replaced by Winnie the Pooh in 2003, Critter Country was no longer the bears home. Now I have heard that the bears will return to Disneyland but in California Adventure to either replace or be part of Redwood Creek Challenge Trail in 2009. Redwood Creek Challenge Trail is the home of Brother Bear now but in 2009 the Country Bears are coming in. There were once kicked out by a bear & now there kicking out two bears.

So have any of you guys heard of this yet?

    yes

For all I know "DisneyAnchor" could be a 10-year-old kid who knows nothing about Disney and is in no position to confirm anything. But you have to admit that the rumor does have legs!!

Sorry, I wasn't trying to rake you over the coals. It's just that rumors like this one are commonplace here. I generally take stuff like this with a grain of salt until Disney makes an official announcement or when bulldozers materialize.

This particular rumor seems pretty far-fetched since there would be no real benefit to adding yet another theater attraction to DCA. Especially one that is about 30 years old.

That said, there seems little chance that the Country Bears will be appearing as an attraction to DCA. The original was completely dismantled, and all the bears themsleves sent to Florida for use as spare parts.
