How wild is it? Lots of big drops and spins or pretty tame?

How wet do you get? Soaked to the undies or...? In other words...should I bring a change of clothes?

Do they have lockers to put your stuff in so it doesn't get wet?

    Any info is appreciated!

There are two major drops, the final one is where the raft spins. It's really the luck of the draw with regards to how wet you get. I've come off dry and I've come off soaked.

Two drops the last one has the spinning element. the rets of the attraction is not excessively wild

Depending on the weight distribution of the raft you might get very wet or come out of it dry. The attraction also has a computer system that controls water elements depending on climate.

There are free lockers located next to the geyser bridge. they are electronic so make sure that you press the lock button when leaving stuff inside them. People sometimes forget to do that and the locker could be issues to someone else even when in use because they were not locked.

Whether you get really wet or not is a matter of random chance. I've gone through and been pretty soaked; I've gone through and been dry and happy at the end of the ride.

    Good luck!

    Thanks!!!

Good to know there are lockers. I'll bring an extra pair of shorts and t-shirt just in case and good tip about not resting your feet on the bottom! I'll try to keep them off the floor. I'll probably wear flips flops though so it might not be so bad.

I'm a poncho enthusiast ever since I got soaked to the bone the first time we rode - literally, like davewasbaloo - I looked as though I'd showered in my clothes. And it happened well before the geyser. And it was about 5 p.m. on an April evening, and though we followed up with an attempted blow-dry on Screamin', I was still quite damp when we got back to the hotel at about 11:30 p.m.

    Squish. *LOL*

Everytime I go on a water ride, I always end up the one soaked, even if everybody else in the raft/log stays pretty dry!
I always tell people that if they want to get wet on a water ride, go with me!
    I seem to attract water!

One thing a lot of people don't know about is the Single Rider system. If you want to go on by yourself, you can enter through the exit and stand in a special line. The loading CM uses the people in this line to fill in gaps when the groups in the regular line don't fill out the boats exactly.

(I know this is old news to many LPers, but I didn't know about it for a long time, and was really excited when I learned how easy it is to use.)

Just before closing of DCA We have been known to go to the hotel (The Grand) and leave everything not needed to reenter the park. Then we ride it and immediately return to our room and change into nice warm and dry clothes.

Kept my feet tucked under the seat but it didn't really matter because I had sandals on. The guy next to the door opposite the bf got DRENCHED. He easily won "wettest shirt". We were dry within a couple hours. Great ride!!!
