It just so happens that my sisters and I will be returning to Southern California in early May of 2006 for a 7 day stay--before heading Northward to San Francisco. We'll be bringing some handsome hunks from Morva with us this time--some who haven't been to Disneyland since 2003.

    That's really...strange. I thought there was at least some sort of decorations other than lights and tinsel on the tree. It is clearly intentional, or somebody did it and it went a long time without being noticed. Is it on the side of the tree as you are coming toward it, or do you have to turn around to see it?

    This was probably done by some guys in Tech Services. Tech Services is the department that handles the installation and maintenance of the Entertainment Department seasonal overlays for Mansion and Small World.

    I know some of the guys in Tech Services as they used to work Attractions on the River, and this reeks of the kind of stunt they would pull.
