The park is so beautiful and magical during the holidays and fortunately for us, the holidays last a good month at Disneyland so we will never have to brave Christmas Day again.

Yes there was crowds but so what, DL is always busy at Christmas, so be organised and plan where you want to be you will have a good time a4tgr4!

Yes I agreee Russ, for some people Christmas day is not the optimum time to visit DL but if you cannot go a any other time then it's still better with the crowds then not going.
Also the crowds thin out at different times during the day so you can take advantage of those times to do what you really want to do! :)

Absolutely. First time visitors probably should choose Christmas or any other holiday to discover the Magic, at least not without a touring plan like RideMax, or with the expectation that there will be heavy crowds and long lines. But I've been to Disney parks often enough that I can relax regardless of crowds; there's no pressure for me to see and do everything. I'm happy to get on a handful of rides and just enjoy the atmosphere.

We have gone to DL many times, we know how to use fastpasses effectively. This trip we are bringing my BIL who has never gone to DL.
Just curious, with the added crowds, if Ride Max would be a worthwhile investment?
