My sob story is basically that I've been off of work quite a bit the last several months because of my gall bladder, which once it was removed...all was well. I felt great! *sidenote* a couple months ago we moved into a house (renting) knowing we'd be tight financially getting going, but we can do it monthly, no problem.

Well now I have a viral infection of some sort that has me off work for another week at least....I'm so frustrated because since I haven't been able to work regularly, things have been pretty bad financially, I'm SO sick of being sick....my boss at work is about ready to throw something heavy at me....

I know it's not my fault that I've been sick between the gall bladder stuff and now this ridiculous viral thing...but I am feeling lower than low and stressed and blah.

So how do you guys do it....when you're in a major slump...what helps? Trust me I've got the drugs and they're...well I'm past the point of anti-anxiety meds doing anything....ahhhh CALGON!!!

Ok I think I've whined enough.....someone tell a bad joke and make me laugh, quick!

Ohh, Stacers I'm sorry you are having a rough time. I wish I had some great advice to share but I don't. Truth be told I've been having one of the hardest times I've had in a loooooong time here lately and it seems like the more I try to "fix" it the worse it gets.

So, I guess I'm saying you are not alone. *hugs*

I hope that once this virus passes things will get back to good for you quickly. Hang in there. This too shall pass.

Lulu posted some very wise words in a thread of sherrytodd's (Not Sure What to Do). Lulu said a lot of very meaningful things in there but what I'm thinking of specifically, what sticks with me is this: <<please do all that you can to take the best care of yourself. I do believe that's more important than we realize. Eat well, go for walks, relax, rest, and most importantly, talk kindly to yourself. You're worth it!>>

You are worth it stacers. You will get through. We love ya and are here for you.
    :)

I've often found that no matter how bad it gets Ialways pull out of it. We've had similar circumstances (financial not sickness) over the years andonce I noticed that we always made it through and often stronger, I started to not worry if something happened. I now know I'm stronger than anything life can throw my way, I just press on and then when things are really good I always make time to literally stop and take in just how far we've come. Often times it's at Disneyland or somewhere beautiful. I hope this helps, and remember your stronger than you think. If your home sick take this time to rest cause I'm sure once your better your going to be working so hard you'll wish you had this time back just for the rest :)

Apparently antibiotics don't work on viral infections so I have to "let it run it's course" grrr that course is apparently from my toes to the top of my head...having a massive sunburn on my legs doesn't help either. Have I mentioned I'm a mess?? :)
And yes, it's NO fun being sick in summertime....so me n the dog are just havin lazy snoozy days....summer fun!)
