I am having trouble finding decent hotel rates - I looked at the convention schedule and there is one that is kind of big - but not as big as others -

Do you know if there is anything else going on in the park that weekend?

    Thanks

Nothing scheduled at the Honda Center.

So just shop around, I like using things like Travelaxe.com to find out the going rates for the specific dates, HoJoAnaheim's new discussion boards to check available discounts...

I also like using Hotwire.com to find low rates on specific dates, you can check the going rates without obligation, but you don't find out the actual hotel until you pay for it. Good if you plan to drive down, or rent a car. (But be aware, some hotels do charge a daily parking fee).

    Hope that helps...

However, when I called to make my reservations, we opted not to spend Saturday night there as they quoted me an AP rate of $365.00!!
I guess I will expect that I won't get early check in on Sunday!

So we plan to check out of Hojo's and head to the Disneyland Hotel.
I have read that they will check you in before check-in time and store your luggage but you may not get your room until late in the afternoon.
I assume that if a room was free, then they would let you have it but if the hotel is totally booked Saturday night, they are going to need all that time to clean all those rooms.
I have also read that some people have been upset that they have not gotten their rooms until after 4:00 but I have noted that the reservation confirmation clearly states that check-in is AFTER 3:00 PM and check-out is BEFORE 11:00 AM.
So although it would be great to check in right away, I think we will assume that we will be storing our luggage and getting our room late in the afternoon!
