After making some Monday morning phone calls and getting showered and all that, we finally made it out of the hotel about 1145am. Today I vowed NOT to walk a million miles before I got into the park, so we found the parking garage and rode the tram, Yeahoo!!! We decided to start today at DCA, and started with lunch at Taste Pilots. Just burgers, fries and onion rings....the self-ordering and finding a table was an adventure all it's own. Food was good, no complaints about burgers. After lunch we got FPs for Soarin' as the line was not too long, but Nick wasn't in a wait in line mood today....so we went to MuppetVision. Last time we went we rushed right into the next show, so this time we had time and were able to crack up at the que and waiting area props and such....I didn't feel any of the effects during the show, but we love Muppets, so it was good either way! After that we went on Monsters Inc, and found that a 6'7 guy with long legs doesn't fit in the taxi very well...we made it, but Nick had to fold his legs under the seat....hehe I thought it was amusing. ) Cute ride though, first time for us. After that I somehow agreed to go on ToT. WHAT I was thinking....I have NO idea. I don't like rides that just drop...and it's safe to say I was a little green after this one. OMG! Oh and make sure that seatbelt is tight! Nick loved it though..men...psha! After that we headed over to use our FPs on Soarin'. I love this ride!! After that we sort of people-watched and shopped around....we decided we didn't want to venture any further into DCA and headed over to DL. There were a few characters out around Main St, and I was taking Christmas Tree pics...and we just happened to be there for Flag Retreat. I hadn't seen this before and read about it here on the boards, and it was really neat to see. After that we decided to stake out a bench for the Christmas Parade and found a spot at the end of Main St just on the Hub. I went for hot dogs and Mickey Mouse pretzels from Coke Corner for dinner, and we waited. It was rather chilly at night, unlike the night before! I really enjoyed the parade, I wish we would have seen it during the day so I could have got some better pictures...I love the stubby little snowmen and women! After the parade we strolled thru Tomorrowland and around to see the Holiday Small World. I really was in awe. It's gorgeous!! After that we went back to Main St to find a good spot for fireworks....and we waited, and it was REALLY cold!! We ended up just at the end of Main St on a bench. I love fireworks as it is, and these were amazing, and the music...OH I loved it. The snow was really neat to see too. After that we let the crowd clear out some and headed out for the day. We went out to WoD and spent tooo much $$, hopped on the tram and got back to the car and heater and out we went....I got a little backwards getting back to the hotel, but we figured it out quick and got back to HoJo's about midnight and passed out.....FUN TIMES!! One more day to come...dinner's here though I'll finish in a bit! I have pictures too )
