Originally Posted By disney pete got to say on a nice sunny day in florida i love to go to both of the disney water parks you get to lie in a bit and the day is just so relaxing, so we roll up just after opening get our lockers and found a couple of loungers and headed straight for the wave pool this is always awsome for me so rode a few big waves whilst kristine stayed in the shallows she was dubious at first but in the afternoon you couldnt get her out of there she was swimming right out by the far line,we went on all of the slides and really enjoyed the new slide/coaster crush n gusher, we done a lot of laps on the lazy river it's just sooooooooooooooooooooo relaxing,we had taken our homemade bagels and after lunch did pretty much the same later in the afternoon i went to our locker for the camera to take some pics and noticed on the typhoon notice board that it was mickey's not so scary halloween party over at the Magic Kingdom went back and mentioned it to kris and she had seen this already on way to toilet and was thinking it would be a nice evening for us even with the extra $120 it would cost us,so after a cool day at the water park we showered changed and set of for my favourite theme park,we got to the TTC about 5.45 and decided since we had gotten the ferry the other day we would ride the monorail over today BIG MISTAKE we missed the first one as it was getting busy and the 2nd one took 40 mins to get to MK. so in we go for our first time at MNSSHP,it wasnt as busy as we thought it would have been but busy enough,it after a nice walk up main st we headed right into tomorrow land and went into monters inc laugh floor what a hoot and i was one of the people they pick on and put up on the big screen this is one of the new things for us and we enjoyed it a lot,then onto buzz this time my score was a lot better but kris's was rubbish ha ha (sorry hun)then we done stitch and tomorrowland speedway,the line for astro orbiter was long so we gave that a miss as we got to fantasyland we saw that snow white was out with the 7 dwarves and stood in a HUGE queue for a photo,one of the CM's said it's very rare for all of them to be out together so it was a must do pic for us,then we got some candy and then in quick succesion we rode small world,pooh ride,peter pan,snow white and dumbo,time had zipped by and we where over at the haunted mansion when the first of the boo to you parades was on so we opted to see the late one we then rode mansion twice with only 10 min waits (woot)it had gotten a bit cold and so decided to give splash a miss as it's hard to get dry at night but made up for it by going on big thunder twice the 2nd time was quite bust and 3 stupid teens jumped from the standby line under a rope and got into the fastpass line which caused a furore with a lot of guests and yet when it was brought to the attention of 3 of the CM's they done nothing about it (ggrrrrr) It was nearly time for Halowishes so we parked ourselves in front of walt n mickey and enjoyed the fireworks(brilliant)knowing how popular the boo to you parade was we left the hub and got a great spot outside the candy store to watch,we sat and ate cookies and then i bought one of them buzz lightyear bubble guns that lights up for our nephew,kristine placed it in her candy bag and left it with me whilst she went over to do a bit of shopping in the mean time a huge annoying family 11 in total came and sat next to me i had placed kristines candy bag and handbag where she was sitting and the kids where kicking and standing all over rthe bags i had some stern words with the parents and after 10 mins they decided to move away when kristine came back she had a bag with her shopping in and wanted to put her candy bag in when she noticed it had gone YEP the horrible family had took off with our bag i was hopping mad,even though it was busy on main st i located the family further down and asked wether by mistake if they had taken our candy bag,now the was 11 bags on the floor by them and their mom picked up the very first bag and said oh yeah here it is, i was pretty sure they had picked it up and knew it was ours but at least we got it back (phew). so we gets back and watched the parade and i have to say even though i have seen it on video it's great to see it live the gravediggers where imense.we were both pretty tired from all the swimmingand after the parade we thought shall we head home but were so glad we decided to stay it was open for another 90 mins and it emptied out so we got to ride a lot of rides with no wait at all we even managed 3 more goes on mansion which was becoming a favourite with kristine eventually midnight came and it was starting to close so with a heavy heart (i always hate leaving MK)we left and although it had emptied the queues for momorails and ferries where still massive so that was that another magical day was coming to an end so of to bed for not many hours sleep before an early alarm to get ready for seaworld.

In California, Paris, Tokyo and Halloween, they do not charge you an extra $120 to enjoy the halloween fun. That said, none of them offer the awesome water parks that WDW has. So it is swings and roundabouts.
