Because of the unhappy guests, they had decided against doing any more of those large showcases to coincide with the release of a DVD. Again, this is purely based on something that I think I read a while back. So take it with several heaping grains of salt.

Sure, it's not quite as elegant as sitting on a couch, but it definately accomplishes the exact same thing. I have no doubt that there were people that complained about it, but if all they use the Animation Building for is the AC, then I think they have other issues that an exhibit on a film will not make any better or worse.

And seeing how the display was in part an attempt to increase the building's attendance, they cancelled the Sleeping Beauty one. Just what I read on the boards.
