We have crunched the numbers and found DDP would cost us more than we usually spend. The up side would be that we may eat at places we normally don't. Since we don't like to be "locked in" to too many reservations, we usually only have 3 sit down meals - averging $90 each, but other that that we don't spend $75 a day on food for all of us. We do have the Disney Dining Experience which takes 20% off of your bill. My SIL used the DDP once and said it was way too much food, they just felt huge the whole time. She won't get it again. I have read that many people really like it, but for now it isn't for us.

The only way to buy it for half the party is to get two rooms and make two totally seperate reservations, and then you couldn't garuntee that you had rooms next to each other either. (Not that you were seriously considering that for a family of four!)
