Good luck approaching a cast member at the ticketing center and telling them you heard a rumor online. I was on the phone and transferred 3 different times yesterday with nobody having an answer! I finally gave up and figured I would try again Monday morn.

Also, come Sunday, it's not as if the CM's determine the price just ring up the total in the computer - they put in the type of pass you want and the computer determines the correct price. So, all tickets will be priced correctly at the new prices come Sunday. What's the big deal?

The renewal rates will be honored. DVC discounts...Premier Passes that can not be renewed online or by phone...And another discussion on LP and other sites about grandfathering certain ticket prices plus going to remote Disney or grocery stores to find old coupons. If that does not sound confusing then i must be wrong. One thing for certain the cast members will not know what anybody is referring to and will only charge the new expensive prices anyway.

Disney has long passed the mark of being a value, but this just underscores how little value it is, unless you're going every week (which is a scary thought).

I just learned a valuable lesson. Last week I became a tourist in my own home town since my 2 small grandchildren were visiting. I seemed to be thinking everyday WOW this is more fun than Disneyland and a lot cheaper. I was thinking about posting a trip report for the entire week of fun and calling it My anti-Disney trip report especially since we all seem to be "surprised" with the new prices.
It was funny because our zoo still has camel rides for children and n open air ski lift ride that takes you over the giraffes. I kept thinking Disney could never do this. I guess I am living in a city that doesn't care about lawsuits . Go ahead and sue we don't have any money type of city,apparently...

Have they made that change at DL yet, or is the children's APs a little less than the adult's?
