Be prepared for huge crowds in the walkways, long waits for attractions and food, and short tempers. Use FastPass as much as you can and try to enjoy the parks as much as you can. If you want to see Fantasmic!, watch a later showing (I can almost guarantee that they will have a show at 9:00 and 10:30 scheduled, along with adding one at 11:30 once the park gets crowded, ask the folks in the yellow jackets around the river to be sure). If you want to see the fireworks, either get to Main Street/hub area about 45-60 minutes early, or be prepared to watch them from elsewhere in the park (the holiday show works well from pretty much anywhere with music, and it snows on Main Street, by small world, and around the river). I was in DL on the 26th about 5 years ago and it was really busy. We managed to do over 30 attractions, and hit everything we wanted to by being smart about wait times and working to avoid crowds. We got there early and stayed late and were completely exhausted at the end of the day, but had a really fun time too. We took nice breaks for food at later times (Blue Bayou around 2:30 and a long break at Zocalo around 8:00), which let us avoid the insane crowds and get some rest time in to recharge. That day was one of my favorites with my family, but it definitely took some work to get everything in. Be prepared for big crowds. I can almost guarantee they will be there. And if it's not that bad for some unknown reason (which, sadly, is highly unlikely), then you will be pleasantly surprised.

I remeber two years ago the line for pirates streached all the way up to splash mountian by midday. good luck to oyu. I would advise going earlier this week it won't be as bad.
