I then did Space Mountain and the Matterhorn. I quite liked the new vehicles. They may not have the charm of the old ones but were more comfortable for someone alone. Also, now that it has single rider, I didn't have to wait at all. Next I did Indiana Jones. In front of me in line was a little boy who was very excited to be tall enough. Everyone nearby congratulated him. I got all this in in an hour and a half and quite hungry so I got pancakes at the River Belle Terrace. After breakfast I slowed down a bit. I did Winnie the Pooh and the Haunted Mansion and Buzz Light Year. Then I decided to do the Holiday Time at Disneyland Tour. When I went to City Hall they were technically sold out but were able to squeeze me in. There were a few hours before the Tour started. It was likely to be cooler the rest of the week so I decided I should do Splash Mountain. Again, with Single Rider I had hardly any wait at all. While I was heading up the exit, I passed a family with a little girl who was crying because she got all wet. Ironically, she was dressed as Ariel. I spent the rest of the time before the tour getting pictures taken, with Minnie, in front of the Castle and in front of the Partners Statue, and browsing in the shops. The tour was really great. First we went over to DCA to look at Buena Vista Street and their tree. We stopped at Trolley Treats and got a chocolate covered peppermint sprinkled marshmallow. We then went back to DL and were told about the decorations in the different lands. We skipped the lines on all three holiday attractions. And the finale was VIP seats for the parade with gingerbread cookies and hot chocolate. We also received a souvenir pin. I highly recommend it. After the parade, I hightailed to the front of the castle and was able to get front and center for the Castle Lighting and Fireworks. Another really good day. Tomorrow, DCA.
