MPierce - yes, we have gone there often at this time and usually have not minded not being able to do much, as we have either had APs or - more recently - have gotten in on my daughter's pass. This year the blocked out dates for her pass cover the whole week so for the first time in years we will have to actually buy admission. That may actually affect our desire to come down that week in the future. Christmas at WDW is something special, even if - like me - you don't celebrate Christmas.

She looks forward to it every year and was just saying yesterday at lunch that she wishes we could get on a plane right now and go. What makes it even better is that we get to go as a family. We have truly memorable, wonderful trips when we visit. I love spending time with my mom and my sister when we're here at home - getting to spend a week with them at WDW is the best thing in the world, in my opinion.

I guess being the stupid young naive girl that I was when I was 18 and moving in a house with a bunch of mexican guys that I barely knew taught me a lot about what I needed and wanted. Working at Target making only about 100-150 dollars a week taught me what I truely needed and wanted. No I didn't have to pay rent, but considering I hadn't grown accustomed to mexican food yet. I did have to buy my own food, and clothes, and cat food and litter. SO I went without a lot. Long story short. I actually made those guys into a family and I am married to one of them. We are so close I couldn't imagine being any closer. They are like my brothers well this changed on how we help eachother out and everything. For many years we had money and blew it. Going into the recession hit us hard b/c they are construction workers you know whats funny when we had money we never went on vacation. Now that we don't have a lot of money we are going to Disney World, and on a mini vacation for Thanksgiving. Anyways I am just telling you this b/c even though we are doing these things it was something we wanted to do well I wanted to do and I usually can talk those guys into anything. which makes this a WANT.
