We leave Saturday! We usually stay at the BWPPI and have never tried this property but it has okay reviews at TripAdvisor so hopefully it will be okay. The rate is right for such a last minute trip! Has anyone stayed here before?

If you need to use an iron you need to check it out from frint desk. The continental breakfast was basic, cereal, pastries, and juice. Our room was huge. It had 2 queen beds and lots of space for our kids o play. We had a corner room, if that made any difference. We didn't use the pool so I can't comment on that. It sure was easdy walking back to our room after a day at the park. I'd pay the $89 rate, but I can't see paying anymore than that.

There were stains on the blankets, trash under the bed, and you had to ask the front desk for any coffee packets for the in room coffee maker. What hospitality! We are gladly paying extra to stay at HOJO next time.

Right now I think the rates are in the $80. I booked awhile ago and got $59 - months in advance.

Check out the reviews. They are still pretty decent.

We checked in and were given two adjoining rooms on the second floor. They were roomy enough, but ick! Here’s a list of my complaints:

The mattresses are covered in plastic so they make loud crinkle noises every time a person moves. No one slept!

The carpets were dirty and stained.

    The walls were paper-thin.

When we first turned on the faucet, it smelled like a sewer. This wasn’t just the first time the faucet was turned on, it was every time until the water ran for more than 30 seconds. I brushed my teeth with bottled water.

The water temperature doesn't stay consistent - you can go from freezing cold to scalding hot instantly in the shower. This was a major problem for the kids in our group especially.

The pool water smelled like feet, and the hot tub was so dirty, you couldn’t see the bottom.

They only have 30 parking spaces for 60 rooms. The only other parking is a block away at another hotel.

We had reservations for 3 nights, but after 2 nights (one of them I slept in my car!) we checked out. I had to fight for it, but I was able to avoid paying for the 3rd night of our reservation. The front desk was of absolutely no help. I had to contact a higher level manager, whose office is located at the Dessert Palm on Katella, in order to have the 3rd night charge reversed.

So, we’ll never stay at the Del Sol again.
