All because they truly feel under attack. Part of me thinks some people are afraid of a non-white majority soon, and Obama is just the symbol of that change. I'm sure it's not for all people, but it has to be a factor for some. Others feel an attack on Christianity, and feel like they are being victimized. It's just this warped perception that they are so persecuted. The noise machine is not helping in those matters. However, if anything Christian conservativism has made itself so tied to the Republican/Tea Party platform that it's just weird that they feel it's being dismissed. It really makes me wonder how many people are so afraid that they will vote for Romney no matter what, rather than just sitting this election out?

Yet Obama doesn't wear his religion on his sleeve, and the far right has been conditioned to think he's a "secret Muslim" or that Obama's Christianity is suspect at the very least.

She and I are not to vote this time, and that is final. Such a bad time to be a voter. Oh and the same rules apply for my daughtor who turns 19 soon. There will be no Obama under my roof. and that goes for the lier Mit also. But at least with Mit we might get a good VP if somethiing bad happened to Romney.

This is a perfect example of the conservative mindset. Conservatives do NOT believe in equality. They believe in a hierarchy. God over man, man over women, whites over blacks, straights over gays, people over environment. They honestly believe that women are subservient to men. They are NOT equals.
