For a hotel built in the 80's or so the interiors of the rooms seem like they are from the 40's or 50's.The decore is bland except for the bedspreads but there is no attempt at pulling any designs together. It was clean and everything operated though the tub drained a bit slow. Hot water came fast. I slept on the pull out sofa in the "parlor" which sagged a lot in the center but didn't have one of those hard bars that are so annoying. The AC unit is in the main bedroom and the air is pulled through the wall into the parlor by a fan in the center of the wall. It was a bit odd but worked okay. I had brought a couple extra fans. Most of the guys at the front desk were a bit rowdy and humorous but not necissarily in a good way for hotel front desk service. We had fun with them but I could see many others would find their behaviour a bit inappropriate. There were no issues though. We found a parking spot early in the A.M. of the first morning and didn't move the car. Parking is also humorous here. So all in all the stay was fine and I would go back as long as my credit card bill comes out okay!
