We will be there again in a couple of weeks. It depends on what you are looking for in a hotel whether it's the one for you or not. We stay at all 3 resort hotels and like them all for different reasons. There are lots of opinions and questions about the Grand under the "Trip Planning" section. You may want to scroll down and skim it for threads on the Grand while you are waiting for replies

We loved the proximity to the parks, the attentive staff, the beautiful lobby, the numerous activities offerred at the hotel, the pool, White Water Snacks and the bunkbeds. Dh's grandmother (in her mid 70's) even went down the slide at the pool a few times. As soon as we got back from that trip, she asked if she could join us on our trip to DL in 2007 if we're staying at GCH again. In terms of character meals, all are buffet except for Ariel's Grotto. However, at Storyteller's and Lilo & Stith's, you have the option of ordering off the menu or having the buffet. the dlresortinfo website is a great website to see menus and prices.
