So, Dick's cameo in "Race to Witch Mountain" was oddly prophetic?

I think that's the distraction from the real story, which is where Iger is taking Disney Studios - which appears to be nowhere fast. What is Disney going to mean in a few years? Is it just going to be a marketing behemoth, or will it have a creative vision of its own? The departure of people like Marty and Dick signals some trouble ahead from my perspective. Iger should get that compass from Jack Sparrow that points towards what the bearer most desires and ask himself very seriously where he really wants to go with the Disney Company. Will this company have any identity of its own in ten to twenty years?

The compass points to his executive compensation and stock portfolio.

For those Disney fans upset about Disney's aquisition of Marvel, you should be upset with Dick Cook for if the studios had performed even marginally better, Disney wouldn't have had the need to go after Marvel....
