I love the Tiki Room just the way it is. It's the only place in D-land where I can really relax. Every time I've been there, the Room has been filled. I don't see how any changes like that were necessary. (For that matter, neither the ones in Small World). Please write to this post and tell me about the Tiki Room.

That being said, I REALLY, REALLY hope the powers-that-be will leave our beloved Tiki Room alone!!

You will also spot some new baskets of flowers around-- they hold a more sophisticated array of speakers. And the original chairs have been replaced by some nice padded benches with low cane backs. No Disney characters... yet.

I could have sworn that it was there the last time I went to the Tiki Room. I could have that confused with listening to it on my iPod, but I remember getting funny looks from the people I was with for being able to whistle along with it, even though there is the tempo change. Maybe I just remember them giving me funny looks for actually singing along when we're instructed to (they were trying to be too cool)...

The birds whistled to one complete chorus to "Let's All Sing Like The Birdies Sing" - Cut from the show in 1997.
