Next, here is a link to a copy of the dinner menu, you can gauge the prices yourself: http://www.laughingplace.com/G...enus.asp Lastly, someone else is going to have to help you with times. Although I'm going to say that you are already 120 days out, so learn quick.

Thanks all for answering my questions.

I can tell you the food is tremendous and worth the money ( Tamarind Filet is out of this world) - I also understand the sushi is very good- but I am not a sushi fan

This was on a regular close...you can also consider the fireworks that happen during Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. At any rate right after being seated our waiter came over and took our drink order then brought us a bread basket and told us to relax and just enjoy our drinks and the upcoming fireworks. He would be back after fireworks to take our dinner order. The music is piped into the dining room or you can go out on the observation deck...however it was VERY windy that evening. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable evening. Pricy yes, but I felt well worth it...Of course we were ont he dining plan and it included much more that what is does this year. However I would not hesitate to go again when I was not on the dining plan. Well worth you consideration. And Happy Birthday....just a little early!

Here are a couple of things you may want to know; make reservations early, they do fill up very quickly, and tell them it is your b-day, they will do something special for you. You check in at the second floor and a seater will bring you to the restaurant of the 15th floor. The reason they do this is because they were having a problem with hotel guests and other people entering the restaurant and disturbing patrons during the fireworks it has nothing to do with the AL-QUAEDA. Also the menu changes weekly, your best bet for an accurate menu is www.allearsnet.com, they update it every couple of weeks. The appetizer portions are very small, but the entrees are a decent portion, I had the fillet, it was $41. We go there for birthdays and anniversary's and always have a great time. They do have a lounge where you can get drinks. Also, there a multiple observation decks, no matter what time your reservation is, they will invite you to come back that evening and watch the fireworks from there deck. If you want a table view, make sure you mention that when you make the res., tell them it is your b-day and that should help. If you are curious about the view, check it out on youtube. have a great b-day! and the flatbread is amazing.

As to getting a rez in December of this year, I know Disney is doing some stuff with their reservation system right now, changing from 180 days out to 90 days out for a short time. Someone can help out with the exact situation for a December booking. But if it's open for bookings 180 days out, then turn out the lights, the party's over, there's absolutely no way you're going to get a booking there this late. If they're on a 90 day booking schedule, then you have a chance. But do the math and make that booking early in the day exactly 90 days out - seats really go fast at this wonderful restaurant!

We eat there every year for our wedding anniversary if our trip coincides as it is my fave restaurant on the planet. oh yeah, one more thing- the time we ate there in October (6th) - 2001- MIB were in the restaurant 2 tables over. They were likely in many other places in WDW also at that time - which is why it stuck in my head.
