A character meal with Captain Jack! Priced at $49 for adults, featuring a fun-filled meal with I guess a treasure hunt. I saw this on All-Ears. Anybody else heard of this??

I'm not sure how this would work - it is one thing to see an animated character made into a park character. I feel like Captain Jack has been made so distinctively Johnny Depp's thing that it would be tough for anyone else to act out the character realistically. I guess it works with Mary Poppins though, so who knows.

She was wearing her pirates shirt and ready to take pictures...and then it got canceled due to inclement weather..and it was the last show of the day!

Sure I was disappointed, but she was devastated, so I know for a fact that both little boys and girls would also be interested in this event ;)

Both my girls ( 21 and 12 ) would take Capt'n Jack over the princesses any time. In fact neither were ever 'into' the princesses per se. My oldest loved Little Mermaid - but she was not a princess until merchandising made her so. Her other favorite Disney feature is Lion King. My youngest's favorite is Stitch.( and Lilo )- and she loves the old Merrie Melodies type stuff..

Some girls are athletes ( as mine are) - - and refuse to be relegated to cheerleader status for the princesses..

Now my oldest would rather have Will Turner than Capt'n Jack, but that is just her personal preference - LOL !
